We finance our humanitarian work in Ethiopia exclusively with donations from private individuals and companies.
We urgently need financial support so that we can continue and further develop the GO STAR project. Donations enable us to purchase and transport the necessary surgical material and bone implants. In addition, projects are being planned to ensure new standards of hygiene and wound care in particular, as well as important infrastructure.
The Board of Trustees and the GO STAR team work exclusively on a voluntary basis. Employees who work as specialists in Jimma only receive a modest compensation for loss of earnings. The costs for travelling, insurance and accommodation also have to be financed by donations.
Only 8% of the income from donations is used for administration.
